About Us

Welcome to Uzbekistan – a country at the heart of Central Asia, where ancient history meets modern development. Known as the crossroads of the Great Silk Road, Uzbekistan has for centuries been a meeting place of cultures, ideas, and traditions. Our country is home to world-renowned historical cities such as Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, and Shakhrisabz, all listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These cities preserve magnificent monuments, mosques, madrasahs, and palaces that reflect the legacy of great civilizations. In Tashkent, the capital city, visitors can experience the vibrant spirit of a modern metropolis while discovering cultural treasures such as the Holy Quran of Uthman, one of the oldest manuscripts in the world, and the beautifully designed Tashkent Metro. Uzbekistan is equally famous for its hospitality and traditions. Guests are welcomed warmly and introduced to a rich culinary culture—from aromatic pilaf (plov), to freshly baked bread and national sweets. Skilled artisans continue to produce exquisite ceramics, silk, embroidery, and woodwork, keeping alive centuries-old craftsmanship. Beyond its cultural heritage, Uzbekistan offers breathtaking natural landscapes—from the mountains and ski resorts near Tashkent, to the deserts, valleys, and rivers that make the country a unique destination for adventure and exploration. Studying in Uzbekistan provides not only academic opportunities but also the chance to experience a land of inspiration, diversity, and discovery. We warmly welcome you to explore Uzbekistan — a country where the past and the future come together.
