Career Center at Central Asian University

Supporting Career Readiness, Employability, and Professional Development
At Central Asian University (CAU)
The Career Center at Central Asian University was officially established in March 2024 with a clear mission - to provide every student with equal access to professional opportunities and ensure that graduates leave the university as confident, skilled, and employable individuals. From its inception, the Career Center was designed not only as a student service office but as a strategic partner supporting students, alumni, faculty, and employers. Its vision focused on bridging the gap between academic learning and workplace expectations while fostering a culture of entrepreneurship, innovation, and lifelong learning.

Online Career Portal and Career Advisor Services at CAU
A central feature of the Career Center’s ecosystem is the EduPlus platform, CAU’s online career portal. Through EduPlus, students can easily access job and internship vacancies, apply directly to positions, and schedule career advising appointments with the Career Center staff. The platform allows users to upload and manage their CVs, monitor application status, and explore professional development resources at any time. EduPlus has become an essential bridge connecting students with top employers, providing them with real-time access to career opportunities.

In addition to EduPlus, the Career Center maintains an active Telegram channel, where students can stay updated on new vacancies, internships, and upcoming events. The channel also serves as a knowledge-sharing hub, featuring articles and resources that help students strengthen their professional skills - from writing effective CVs and cover letters to performing successfully in interviews. These materials empower students to learn independently and apply practical advice when pursuing their career goals.

Beyond digital platforms, the Career Center continuously engages with students through workshops, training sessions, and mock interviews designed to enhance employability and professional confidence. Staff members offer individualized feedback on CVs and cover letters, guiding students to highlight their unique skills and motivations effectively. Simulation exercises replicate real-world recruitment scenarios, helping students gain confidence and refine their communication strategies.

The Career Center at Central Asian University operates with a dedicated and dynamic team of professionals committed to guiding students toward successful career outcomes

Career Center activities

Since its establishment, the Career Center has had a measurable impact on graduate outcomes. In the past two academic years, 472 students successfully graduated across CAU’s key faculties - business, healthcare, education, technology, and design. Impressively, 298 graduates (over 60%) have entered green and sustainability-focused jobs, reflecting CAU’s strong commitment to preparing professionals who contribute to environmentally responsible and innovative industries.

Through the integration of EduPlus, the Telegram channel, and continuous on-campus engagement,
the CAU Career Center ensures that every student has access to high-quality, personalized career support. Its combination of digital accessibility and hands-on mentoring positions CAU as a university that not only educates but also actively guides its students toward successful employment and lifelong professional growth.
Together, this team ensures the smooth operation of all Career Center activities  from student advising and employer engagement to data management and digital outreach supporting the university’s mission to connect education with meaningful employment opportunities.
A significant milestone in the Career Center’s activities was the CAU Job Fair 2025, held on May 5, 2025. This large-scale event became the biggest career platform in the university’s history, connecting students with over 90 leading employers, including AKFA Group Companies, Hilton Hotels, Uzbekistan Airports, IT-Park, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Beeline, 1Fit, and the Big Four. The Job Fair provided a valuable opportunity for students to interact directly with recruiters, learn about hiring processes, and expand their professional networks.
