TRANSFER ADMISSIONS
Central Asian University actively encourages transfer students to apply, recognizing the unique perspectives and academic enthusiasm they bring to our community. The process for evaluating transfer applications involves a detailed assessment by the Admissions Committee to ensure a fair and comprehensive review.

The criteria for considering transfer admissions to CAU include:

  • Applicants must have completed a minimum of two regular semesters at their previous university or college.
  • There must be no records of probationary status or disciplinary actions from the previous educational institution.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (80 out of 100%) is required for consideration. However, if the applicant's previous university has a very high world ranking, the minimum GPA requirement may be adjusted.

Applicants are required to submit an application form along with the following documents:

  • Official transcripts from the previous university/college,
  • An official English Proficiency Test score (IELTS 6.0 or equivalent TOEFL iBT score),
  • Passport bio page scan,
  • Recent photo measuring 3.5×4.5 cm.

The Admissions Committee reserves the right to request syllabi for specific courses from your previous studies to determine course equivalency between your former institution and CAU. This evaluation will determine the academic year to which you may be admitted. Full acknowledgment of the years spent at your previous university is contingent upon the compatibility of its curriculum with CAU's. Suitable candidates, as deemed by the Committee based on document review, may be invited for an interview.
