As part of its internationalization strategy, Central Asian University (CAU) is actively strengthening and expanding its global partnership network. To date, CAU has established cooperation agreements with a wide range of higher education institutions worldwide. These agreements serve as a foundation for strategic collaboration in education, research, and innovation, providing valuable opportunities for students, faculty, and researchers.
Most agreements include opportunities for student exchanges, usually for one or two semesters. Many partner universities welcome CAU students under bilateral exchange agreements, which typically waive tuition fees. Other institutions offer opportunities on a tuition fee-paying basis through Study Abroad programmes. Beyond coursework, several agreements also allow for research traineeships, internships, and final thesis projects at partner institutions.
Although tuition fees are often waived, students are generally responsible for covering their own travel, accommodation, and living expenses during their stay abroad. In certain cases, however, financial support and mobility grants—such as those provided through Erasmus+—are available. Further details on scholarships, available funding, and application procedures may be obtained from the designated CAU contact person indicated next to each partner university.
