International Exchange
The International Exchange Program offers students the opportunity to study abroad at one of our partner universities while continuing their academic journey at their home institution. It is designed to provide valuable international experience, expand cultural horizons, and strengthen professional and academic skills.
Semester / Year Abroad – Study at a partner university for one semester or full academic year.
Short-Term Programs – Summer and winter schools, research projects, or study visits.
Dual / Joint Degree Options – Selected programs allow students to earn a degree from both universities.

🌐 For Incoming Students
The Incoming Student Exchange Programme at Central Asian University (CAU) offers international students the opportunity to study at CAU for one or two semesters as part of their home university degree. The programme is based on bilateral exchange agreements signed between CAU and partner institutions worldwide.
As an exchange student at CAU, you can:
•Study a wide range of courses taught in English
•Receive full academic support and access to university facilities.
•Enjoy vibrant student life, cultural activities, and excursions.
🌐 For Outgoing Students
Students from CAU can apply to spend part of their studies abroad at a partner institution.
To apply, you will need:
•Academic transcript
•Learning agreement
•CV and personal statement
•Language certificate (if required)
Applications are managed by the International Relations Office.

Central Asian University (CAU) actively participates in the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, which supports international cooperation in higher education. Through Erasmus+, CAU students and staff have the opportunity to study, teach, train, or gain experience abroad at one of our partner institutions in Europe.
Opportunities under Erasmus+

•Student Mobility – Spend one semester or a full academic year at a European partner university while earning credits that are fully transferable to your CAU degree.
•Staff Mobility – Teaching and administrative staff can take part in training or teaching assignments abroad, exchanging best practices and strengthening academic cooperation.

Application Process
1.Check the list of CAU’s Erasmus+ partner universities.
2.Apply through the CAU International Relations Office.
3.Submit required documents (transcript, CV, motivation letter, language certificate if needed).
4.Selected students will be nominated for Erasmus+ mobility and guided through the visa and scholarship process.
