Central Asian University School of Medicine
The Central Asian University School of Medicine was established under Presidential Decree No. 3450 on December 29, 2017, with the aim of advancing the quality of medical education in Uzbekistan and preparing future doctors who meet international competency standards. The School strives to cultivate medical professionals who combine clinical excellence with ethical integrity, leadership, and a commitment to improving public health outcomes.

Medical Olympiad at Central Asian University
Central Asian University successfully hosted the Medical Olympiad, the largest international academic competition in medicine ever held in Central Asia. The event brought together over 2,500 participants, including medical students, residents, and young doctors, representing 45+ universities from more than 20 countries across Asia, Europe, and Australia.
Universities and medical schools from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, India, China, South Korea, Turkey, the UAE, Italy, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK, and Australia took part, turning the Olympiad into a truly global platform for knowledge exchange and innovation.
The competition recognized excellence with prestigious awards for top-performing teams and individuals, celebrating academic achievement and fostering international collaboration in medical education.
By organizing the Medical Olympiad, Central Asian University actively contributed to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting academic excellence, advancing medical knowledge, and providing equal learning opportunities through global exchange and innovation. This initiative highlights the university’s commitment to improving the quality of education and strengthening Uzbekistan’s position as a regional leader in higher education and healthcare innovation.
Dental School
The Dental School at Central Asian University offers the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) program a comprehensive five-year program designed to equip students with the professional skills required for practising clinical dentistry. The program provides an enriched foundation in all dental speciality branches, preparing students to become competent, ethical, and innovative dental professionals.
Before beginning core dental subjects, students complete a one-year Pre-Dental Foundation Program, which builds the essential scientific and academic background necessary for success in advanced dental studies. Education throughout the program is conducted entirely in English, ensuring alignment with international academic standards.
The Dental School prides itself on its international team of highly professional professors who bring extensive experience from leading universities and clinics around the world. This global faculty ensures that students receive education aligned with international standards and have access to the latest innovations and research developments in dental science.
Prof. Dr. Niladri Maiti, Dean of the School of Dentistry, together with students Darya Manuylenko and Shakhzodakhon Mansurkhonova, visited the Dental College of Chulalongkorn University in Thailand the country’s oldest and one of the world’s best dental schools, ranked #59 globally in Dentistry & Oral Health.
During their visit, the CAU delegation met with Prof. Pornchai Jansisyanont, Dean of Chulalongkorn University, to discuss joint research projects, data analysis collaborations, student and faculty exchange programs, and new academic initiatives aimed at fostering innovation and shared learning.
CAU Students and Professors Participate in IDECA
Students from the School of Dentistry at Central Asian University participated in IDECA, held at the UzExpoCentre in Tashkent.
The event provided a valuable opportunity for future dental professionals to engage with the latest innovations in dental care. Participants explored hands-on demonstrations of modern diagnostic and treatment technologies and attended presentations delivered by leading experts in the field, coordinated by the faculty of the Dental School.

The Business School of Central Asian University continues to set new standards in business education by fostering excellence in applied learning, innovation, and global exposure. One of the cornerstone initiatives of this approach is the CAU Business Case Competition, organized annually to promote critical thinking, collaboration, and leadership among university students.
