CAU Researcher Publishes in a Q1 SSCI-Indexed Journal

Professor Sherzodbek Dadaboyev has co-authored a research article published in the Baltic Journal of Management, an SSCI-indexed journal ranked in Q1 in Scopus.

The article, titled “Paradoxical consequences of unethical pro-organizational behavior: a dual-path model,” examines the complex effects of unethical pro-organizational behavior (UPB) — actions taken with the intention of benefiting an organization, despite violating ethical norms.

Based on two independent studies, the research demonstrates that such behavior may lead to mixed outcomes. On the one hand, it can be associated with positive forms of engagement, including volunteering behavior. On the other hand, it may increase the likelihood of further unethical conduct in the future.

The study contributes to a deeper understanding of organizational ethics and management by proposing a dual-path model of UPB and emphasizing the importance of embedding ethical values into organizational culture, managerial decision-making, and institutional practices.

This publication reflects the growing contribution of Central Asian University researchers to the international academic community.
