From September 28 to October 7, 2026, the Central Asian Youth Health Innovation Conference (CAYHIC 2026) will take place as a free international online conference bringing together students from Central Asia with researchers, physicians, and healthcare professionals from around the world.
Students of Central Asian University are invited to join the conference, learn about contemporary approaches to medicine and public health, engage with international experts, and present their own ideas.
The program will feature expert lectures, live Q&A sessions, and the Health Innovation Challenge. As part of the challenge, participants will identify a real-world healthcare problem, develop their own solution, and present it to an international jury. Winners will be awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, while all participants will receive certificates.
The invited speakers include international experts in medicine, biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, and mental health, including Professor Antonio Sarria-Santamera of Nazarbayev University School of Medicine, cardiothoracic surgeon at Royal Papworth Hospital and University of Cambridge Associate Professor Jason Ali, computational biologist and AI engineer Ulugbek Baymurodov, psychotherapist Milena Stepanova, and biomedical engineer Milutin Miloykovic.
CAYHIC 2026 is an independent, student-led initiative. The conference is held in partnership with the Central Asian Neuroengineering Academy (CANA) and will be conducted entirely in English. An English level of approximately IELTS 6.0 or equivalent is recommended for participation.
Participation is free. Registration is open until September 25, 2026.
Students of CAU interested in medicine, biology, public health, biomedical engineering, and related fields are invited to register and participate in the conference.
