Tashkent, February 13, 2026 - Central Asian University (CAU) hosted an educational event featuring physicians from one of the world’s leading medical institutions - Cleveland Clinic (USA). The event included open lectures for medical students as well as presentations of student projects focused on innovative solutions for modern healthcare.

Dr. Castro is a specialist in intensive care and digital medical systems, actively involved in the development of Tele-ICU programs that integrate advanced monitoring technologies with coordinated team-based decision-making. In addition to his clinical work, he focuses on quality improvement and patient safety within large healthcare institutions. In his lecture, he emphasized how technology, coordination, and leadership are shaping the future of critical care.

Dr. Mesko is an orthopaedic oncology specialist with international training and experience at leading sarcoma centers in the United States, Canada, Italy, and the United Kingdom. Since 2014, he has been practicing at Cleveland Clinic, specializing in the treatment of bone and soft tissue tumors, complex reconstructive surgery, and research aimed at improving outcomes for patients with rare cancers. He is also actively involved in international medical missions and educational initiatives.
