Central Asian University Launches CAU Venture Sprint 2026 - A University Sprint for Developing Real Business Concepts

Central Asian University announces the launch of CAU Venture Sprint 2026 - the flagship initiative of the newly established CAU Venture Studio platform, designed to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and commercially viable projects within the university.
CAU Venture Sprint is an initiative program where students explore real business opportunities, form interdisciplinary teams, develop venture concepts, and present their ideas to an expert jury.
Students from all schools and academic years at CAU are invited to participate. Special emphasis is placed on interdisciplinary collaboration: business can integrate with engineering, medicine, dentistry, architecture, design, IT, tourism, and other fields. This format reflects CAU's practical philosophy - the university not only provides knowledge, but also creates an environment where ideas can turn into real projects.
As part of Venture Sprint, students will work with real business development opportunities. Participants will explore AKFA Group's infrastructure, gain insight into the scale of upcoming projects, identify market inches, assess needs, and propose realistic business models.
Ideas may span a wide range of practical areas, including projects related to the holding’s existing assets, solutions in education, healthcare and wellness, engineering, applied technologies, architecture, design, tourism, hospitality, digital services, AI-enabled platforms, and commercially promising university initiatives.
The program will run into several stages: launch and registration, introductory visits to the sites, an information session, development of the first draft of a business idea, feedback from the CAU team, concept refinement, and final presentations. This structured pathway helps students move from opportunity identification to a well-developed venture concept with an initial implementation logic.
Final presentations will be delivered to a jury that includes representatives from Aloqa Ventures (a special representative from UC Berkeley), and the deans of Central Asian University.
A key focus of the program is supporting top participants. CAU has always believed in one idea: true education is an investment in the future. Within CAU Venture Sprint 2026, this idea becomes tangible.
Winners of the project will receive grants covering up to 100% of one year of tuition at CAU. A strong idea can become the foundation of a future business and provide real support for a student’s educational journey.
Your idea pays for your education.
CAU graduates are offered a separate opportunity. Project partner Way ll will provide an investment package on its platform equal to the cost of one year of university tuition.
Way ll is an investment platform that provides access to large-scale business projects and helps users build capital through real investment instruments. The platform makes investing more accessible, transparent, and technology-driven by combining financial opportunities, digital infrastructure, and a long-term approach to capital growth.
In this way, CAU Venture Sprint 2026 becomes a practical mechanism for supporting both students and graduates. The university speaks about investing in the future - and puts that investment into action.
The launch of CAU Venture Sprint marks the first practical step in the development of CAU Venture Studio - a long-term university platform that will bring together ideas, talent, mentorship, applied problem-solving, and commercialization support. In the future, Venture Studio will serve as an institutional environment for developing student, faculty, and partner initiatives, as well as for building a sustainable culture of innovation within CAU.
CAU Venture Studio is designed as a permanent platform, integrating opportunity discovery programs, workshops, mentorship sessions, expert consultations, incubation tracks, demo days, venture competitions, and partner-driven projects. Its goal is to make entrepreneurship and innovation an integral part of the university ecosystem.
CAU Venture Sprint 2026 is the first step in this direction. Students will be able to propose an idea, test it in a real-world context, receive feedback, strengthen its business logic, and present it to those who can help take it further.
CAU invites students from all disciplines to join Venture Sprint 2026 and become part of the university’s new entrepreneurial ecosystem.
CAU Venture Sprint 2026 is an opportunity to identify real business potential, build a strong team, develop a venture concept, and take the first step toward a project that can go beyond the classroom.
