Khurzoda Abdieva is a graduate of the Central Asian University Business School’s English Language Teaching program (2022–2025). Today, she works as an English teacher at Maple Bear International School, where she helps children learn a foreign language, build self-confidence, and unlock their potential.
Her journey into the profession began when she enrolled at CAU. Khurzoda’s mother played an important role in helping her choose the university, supporting and guiding her during a significant moment in her life. At that time, the future graduate did not yet fully understand which professional path she would pursue. However, during her studies, she gradually realized that the field of education and working with children were what truly suited her.

Practical training played a particularly important role in this process. Starting from the second year, students regularly worked in real educational environments, gaining opportunities to apply their knowledge in practice and become familiar with their future profession from within. It was this experience that helped Khurzoda finally confirm that she had made the right choice.
“When I enrolled, I did not have a complete understanding of the profession. It developed gradually thanks to the practical experience, which helped me gain confidence and ultimately convinced me that I wanted to become a teacher,” says Khurzoda.
Today, her work goes far beyond teaching English. For Khurzoda, it is important not only to provide children with knowledge but also to create an atmosphere of trust, safety, and emotional comfort. She believes that a child can fully realize their potential only when they feel supported and valued.
