From November 5 to 7, Central Asian University (CAU) is hosting the Maktab Sport Cup by CAU 2025 — an international sports competition for 10th–11th grade school students, as well as lyceum and college graduates from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan.
Held during the autumn break, the event highlights CAU’s commitment to promoting youth sports, healthy living, and team spirit. Over the course of three days, the university’s modern campus transforms into a hub of athletic energy, excitement, and fair competition.
More than 2,000 participants are competing in nine disciplines:
- Athletics
- Mini-football
- Volleyball
- Basketball
- Table tennis
- Tennis
- Chess
- Swimming
- E-sports (FIFA-2025)
All competitions are taking place across the modern sports facilities of CAU’s campus, which for three days has become the center of sporting life, energy, and positive emotions. The Maktab Sport Cup has grown into not only a sporting event but also a cultural celebration, uniting young people from across Central Asia.
For many participants, this tournament marks their first international competition and a unique chance to feel part of CAU’s dynamic student community. Winners and prizeholders will receive trophies, medals, and valuable prizes from the university, while all participants will take home unforgettable memories and new friendships.
Participants of the Maktab Sport Cup will be invited to learn more about the Be Student program by Central Asian University. This CAU initiative combines academic learning, technology, sports, and personal development. Through such events, the university helps high school students experience campus life, explore educational opportunities, and understand that education is not only about textbooks, but also about movement, energy, and team spirit.
