Central Asian University has welcomed a delegation from Cleveland Clinic as part of an intensive working visit focused on the continued development of CAU Hospital and the implementation of key stages of organizational and operational planning.
During the visit, the delegation was introduced to the CAU campus, including its academic infrastructure, simulation center, and the construction site of the future hospital.
The visit program is designed to move from strategic vision to practical implementation. Over several days, Cleveland Clinic experts, together with the CAU Hospital | Cleveland Clinic Connected project team, will conduct a series of working sessions and strategic discussions covering the model of care delivery, phased launch of clinical services, organizational structure, leadership development, talent acquisition strategy, financial modeling, marketing and promotion, digital readiness, as well as overall operational planning of the future hospital. One of the key objectives of the visit is to align priorities, define implementation phases, and develop a clear roadmap for the дальнейшее развитие of the CAU Hospital | Cleveland Clinic Connected project.
As part of the visit, the Cleveland Clinic delegation will also conduct a series of training sessions for the CAU Hospital | Cleveland Clinic Connected project team, sharing international expertise in healthcare management, hospital operations, and systems planning. In parallel, the program includes educational meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions for CAU students and faculty, creating an additional platform for academic and professional engagement.
The delegation includes representatives from Cleveland Clinic’s international division overseeing emerging markets—experts in clinical leadership, international hospital development, finance, strategy, and healthcare operations. On the CAU side, participants in the working sessions include university leadership, the CAU Hospital | Cleveland Clinic Connected team, clinical and operational leaders, as well as members of the academic community.
The visit marks another milestone in the ongoing collaboration between Central Asian University and Cleveland Clinic Connected in advancing the development of CAU Hospital and preparing for the launch of the future hospital.
