Central Asian University Announces Strategic Partnership with Colorado State University for Dual MBA Degrees

Central Asian University (CAU) is proud to announce a significant academic partnership with Colorado State University College of Business, USA. This collaboration marks a pivotal step in CAU's commitment to providing global educational opportunities to its students. The partnership agreement, signed by Professor Odiljon Abdurazzakov, Founding Dean of CAU Business School, and Professor Travis Maynard, Associate Dean of Colorado State University College of Business, introduces a dual MBA degree program.
Under this innovative program, MBA students at Central Asian University will have the opportunity to spend the first year of their studies at CAU and the second year at Colorado State University. This arrangement not only broadens their academic and cultural horizons but also allows them to earn two MBA degrees – one from each institution. Furthermore, CAU students will benefit from a 20% tuition fee discount at Colorado State University.

An additional advantage of this program is the eligibility for Optional Practical Training (OPT) upon completion of their MBA at Colorado State University. This provision enables graduates to gain valuable work experience in the United States for up to two years, significantly enhancing their career prospects.
The partnership was meticulously planned over more than a year, involving curriculum mapping and extensive exchange of course content information to ensure a seamless and integrated educational experience for the students.

The signing ceremony was attended by Kamran Gulamov, President of Central Asian University, and Professor Alisher Dedahanov, Deputy Dean of CAU Business School. President Gulamov emphasized the strategic importance of this partnership in fostering international academic collaboration and enhancing the educational landscape at CAU.
Following the formalities, Professor Maynard was given a comprehensive tour of the CAU campus, showcasing its modern facilities, including the Bloomberg Finance Lab, Artificial Intelligence Lab, and Medical and Dental Simulations labs. He also engaged with faculty members and students of the CAU Business School, further solidifying the mutual benefits of this international partnership.
