At Central Asian University (CAU)
The Student Wellbeing Department is dedicated to supporting students in all aspects of their personal, academic, and emotional wellbeing. A healthy mind and balanced lifestyle are essential for academic success and personal growth. 
The department offers a range of services designed to help students maintain their wellbeing and make the most of their university experience. 
These include: 
Counseling and psychological support for students experiencing stress, anxiety, or other mental health concerns; 
Academic and personal guidance to help students overcome challenges and stay motivated; 
Workshops and activities focused on mindfulness, self-care, time management, and emotional intelligence; 
Peer mentoring programs that encourage connection, empathy, and a sense of community; 
Accessibility support for students with disabilities to ensure equal learning opportunities. 
The department works closely with faculty and university staff to foster an inclusive, compassionate environment where every student feels heard, respected, and supported. 
Students who need guidance, emotional support, or simply someone to talk to can visit the Student Wellbeing Department. The team is available to help students navigate university life and support their journey toward personal and academic success.

    The English Plus Course is a key initiative of the CAU Student Well-Being Department, designed to support students who encounter academic challenges due to limited English proficiency. Recognizing that English is not the mother tongue for many of our students, this program provides free, high-quality language support to ensure academic success and confidence in an English-medium learning environment.

  • Who the Course Supports
    The English Plus Course is offered to students who:

    Experience difficulties understanding course materials
    Receive low academic scores related to language challenges
    Are recommended by professors for additional support

  • High-Quality Instruction
    All classes are delivered by highly qualified and experienced instructors, ensuring that students receive professional, effective, and personalized language training.
    The program focuses on:

    Academic reading and writing
    Speaking and listening skills
    Grammar and vocabulary development
    Study skills for English-medium coursework
  • Additional Free Language Courses
