What is a PINFL and Why You Need It
All international students admitted to Central Asian University are required to obtain a Personal Identification Number for Individuals (PINI), also referred to as PINFL, upon arrival in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The PINI is a mandatory identifier used for legal residence, academic registration, taxation, and access to various public services. Timely completion of this procedure is essential to ensure compliance with local regulations and to facilitate access to university services

  • What to Bring
    You must bring the following required documents: a valid passport, a passport-style photograph, and proof of residence registration within Uzbekistan.
  • Processing Time & Details
    The average processing time for PINI issuance is 7–10 business days. Be aware that biometric data collection (such as fingerprinting) may be required by the authorities.
  • University Support & Fees
    Central Asian University provides support by offering institutional guidance and necessary official documentation. However, all state duties and associated fees must be fully covered by the student.
