INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS
"Business "is" by definition International. Economic
specialization allows countries to express their talents at
home and to access goods and services seamlessly from
global suppliers. Embracing international opportunities
means broadening the scope of a leader's achievement."
Nicola Pasquali
Academic Director
"As the economy becomes global, knowledge of
international markets is a vital skill set companies desire.
Our degree in International Business explores the problems
of multi-national corporations; issues of the international
economic system, as well as country-risk analysis."
Dr. Odiljon Abdurazzakov, PhD

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Despite the disruption brought by the COVID pandemic in 2020 and for the most of 2021, global trade of goods reached the historical record figure of USD 25.3tn at the end of 2022; otherwise stated, if International Business were a country, it would have the world's largest GDP, with the U.S. being second in position (USD 23.3tn).

The trend will only accelerate, thanks to the globalising forces of surging developing economies and technology reducing cross-border information asymmetry. Being a professional in International Business is all about seeing opportunities to trade, exchange and grow in global markets; it is about sharing ideas and finding ways to deliver value at home and abroad. Central Asia is one of the most thriving and promising geographies of the next decade; our goal is to educate our students to look for challenges, to be curious constantly, and to be the leaders of a change spoken in many languages, unbound by neither time nor space.
