PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Biomedical engineering studies the application of engineering knowledge to biology and medicine. The goal of this program is to meet the requirements of medical and technical personnel by expanding engineering and biomedical knowledge about the problems in the field of biomedical engineering and drawing attention to these problems of technical specialists.

The Biomedical Engineering program allows students to study biomedical devices, materials, biomedical imaging, modelling, simulation, and data analysis skills.

PROGRAM CONTENT
Education will be conducted according to effective, innovative curricula, programs, and methods by leading foreign professors and highly qualified specialists from leading domestic companies based on an innovative education system integrated into production.

The program includes course works, laboratory work, practical classes, training, and internships in medical institutions. Students will gain knowledge in biomedical engineering with compulsory subject courses and deepen their understanding of the specialisation through elective courses. The program consists of the following areas:

  • Biomedical devices and materials
  • Biomedical Imaging
  • Biomedical computation.
CAREER PERSPECTIVES
Upon graduation from the Biomedical Engineering department, graduates can work as a biomedical device maintenance engineer, a biomedical data analyst engineer, a biotechnologist, a biomedical engineering research and development engineer, and others.

AR/VR Lab
Explores immersive technologies that transform learning, design, and human–computer interaction. Equipped with Meta Quest 3S, Meta Quest Pro, Apple Vision Pro, and Microsoft Surface smart glasses, the lab focuses on extended reality (XR) development, simulation, and real-world applications across education, industry, and innovation.
IoT Lab
Focuses on the design and deployment of smart, connected systems that integrate sensors, devices, and cloud platforms. The lab supports hands-on learning and research in embedded systems, data acquisition, and real-time monitoring, enabling innovative solutions for smart homes, smart industries, and intelligent environments.
Electrical and Electronics Engineering Lab
Provides hands-on training in power systems, electronics, and industrial automation. Equipped with electrical and electronics engineering workbenches, PLC programming stations, and hydraulics and pneumatics workbenches integrated with PLCs, the lab supports practical learning, system integration, and real-world industrial applications.
Home Appliances Lab
Provides practical, hands-on learning focused on the design, operation, and maintenance of modern household equipment. Equipped with dedicated workbenches for refrigerators, HVAC systems, TVs, washing machines, electric ovens, water heaters, microwave and mini ovens, and vacuum cleaners, the lab enables students to study internal components, system functionality, fault diagnostics, and maintenance procedures used in real-world applications.
