Dr. Loonen is a distinguished plastic surgeon with a career spanning across Europe and the Middle East, holding key positions in prestigious institutions such as King’s College Hospital London (UAE) and Valiant Hospital in Dubai. He has served as Medical Director and Chief of Clinical Staff, where his contributions have included not only clinical excellence but also medical management, the development of advanced protocols, and integration of cutting-edge healthcare technologies.

Dr. Loonen earned his Ph.D. in Plastic Surgery with top honors from the University of Utrecht, Netherlands, one of the world’s top 50 universities. His thesis, which focused on qualitative and quantitative analysis of plastic surgery research since 1946, led him to develop a new model for journal impact factor calculation. In addition to his academic achievements, he completed a leadership certificate program at Harvard University, which further shaped his approach to healthcare management.
