Central Asian University to Host the Inaugural QS Eurasia Forum 2025

Central Asian University is proud to announce that it will host the inaugural QS Eurasia Forum 2025, taking place on 25–26 November 2025 in Tashkent, in partnership with QS Quacquarelli Symonds, global higher education analysts and compiler of the QS World University Rankings.

The event is being organised with the support of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and will bring together academic leaders, policymakers, and industry experts from across Eurasia and beyond. This year’s theme, “Broadening Horizons: Building Global Bridges in Higher Education,” focuses on strengthening international collaboration, expanding institutional visibility, and aligning academic development with regional and global priorities.
As Eurasia emerges as a powerful contributor to global higher education, the Forum will examine how the region can unlock its potential by drawing on its academic heritage, cultural richness, and strategic geography — with the goal of forming a unified and globally recognised academic presence.

The programme will feature:

  • High-level keynote speeches
  • Interactive panel discussions
  • Hands-on workshops and masterclasses
  • Extensive opportunities for international networking
With a focus on internationalisation, research-driven innovation, and human capital development, the QS Eurasia Forum 2025 will showcase how institutions across the region are advancing in partnership with top universities worldwide and contributing to sustainable socioeconomic growth.
Kamran Gulamov, Rector of Central Asian University, commented:

“This Forum marks a significant milestone not only for our university but also for the entire Eurasian academic community. It reflects our shared ambition to engage actively in global dialogue, share our regional perspectives, and shape the future of higher education through partnership and innovation.”
Sergei Khristoliubov, Regional Director at QS Quacquarelli Symonds, noted:

“Eurasia is a region that connects East and West, both geographically and culturally. It plays an essential role in international trade and remains one of the world’s fastest-growing regions. Higher education institutions in this part of the world are key to sustaining this growth by aligning educational output with local socioeconomic needs. The Forum will explore how these institutions can enhance global competitiveness and impact.”
As the official host, Central Asian University reaffirms its commitment to advancing quality education, fostering global partnerships, and serving as a regional hub for academic excellence.
