Central Asian University had the honor of hosting a delegation from Óbuda University, Hungary, to discuss new areas of cooperation. The delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, Rector of Óbuda University, and included Prof. Dr. András Molnár, Vice Rector, Botond Fehér, General Director for Finance, Prof. Dr. Zoltán Rajnai, Dean of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty, Emese Baranyai, Director of the International Office, Ildiko Tóth, Director of the PR Office, and Dr. Monika Pogatsnik, Vice Dean and Coordinator for Central Asia.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Kamran Gulamov, Rector of Central Asian University, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Kakhramon Yusupov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Aziz, Dean of the School of Engineering.

During their visit, the Óbuda University representatives were highly impressed with the state-of-the-art facilities and academic environment at Central Asian University. In an official meeting, both parties discussed key matters related to potential cooperation between the two institutions. One of the main outcomes was the discussion of a dual degree program in Industrial Engineering and a graduate program in Cybersecurity, aimed at expanding the academic offerings of both universities.




Additionally, matters related to student and faculty exchange programs were discussed, with potential implementation starting from the next semester. The collaboration will also focus on the development of a Techno Hub and advancing programs in Innovation Management.
This partnership marks a significant step toward strengthening international ties and expanding educational and research opportunities for students and faculty from both universities.
