DAEGU University of Korea to offer scholarships for Central Asian University students.

The delegation of DAEGU University of South Korea visited Central Asian University. The panel included Professor Sehyun Park, Professor Yoosoo Oh and Professor Kyuman Jeong. The guests provided information about DAEGU University, undergraduate and graduate programs, and research projects. The guests were welcomed by Professor Dr. Odiljon Abdurazzakov, Dean of Central Asian University Business School and Professor Dr. Alisher Dedahanov, Deputy Dean of CAU Business School for Research.
Professor Dr. Odiljon Abdurazzakov informed the Korean delegation about the history of Central Asian University, the programs offered, and the university's research activities. Both sides expressed interest in partnering closely on research projects throughout the discussions. DAEGU University delegation provided information about the opportunity of full scholarships for Central Asian University students who would like to study for their master’s degree at DAEGU University. This will give students of Central Asian University an opportunity to be engaged in several research projects being carried out at DAEGU University.
DAEGU University was established in 1956 and is recognised not only as Korea's top university for Special Education, Rehabilitation Science, and Social Welfare but also at the top in Information and Communication Technology, Industry-Academy Cooperation, and Continuing Education. It has a student population of more than 20,000 and offers 96 majors in the undergraduate program and six graduate schools.

After the discussions, the guests were given a tour of Central Asian University. They had a chance to evidence the opportunities provided for students of Central Asian University in the area of research as well as social activities.
