AKFA Medline Social and Roche Diagnostics Announce Strategic Partnership in Laboratory and Digital Medicine
The AKFA Medline Social project, implemented by AKFA Group in partnership with Central Asian University and AKFA Medline University Hospital, has signed a long-term strategic agreement with Roche Diagnostics, a global leader in laboratory diagnostics and digital healthcare solutions.
The partnership aims to develop a modern laboratory infrastructure, introduce innovative technologies, and establish international standards for diagnostic quality in Uzbekistan.
Key Areas of Cooperation
Under the agreement, Roche Diagnostics will supply AKFA Medline Social with a full range of state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and reagents, including:
automated clinical chemistry and immunodiagnostic systems;
molecular diagnostics and infectious disease analysis solutions;
hematology and biochemistry laboratory instruments;
software for laboratory workflow management and data analytics.
A special focus will be placed on the digital integration of laboratory processes:
a unified digital platform based on Roche solutions will be implemented to monitor and process test results;
artificial intelligence (AI) technologies will be used to enhance the accuracy, speed, and predictive capabilities of laboratory data;
in the long term, a unified patient database will be created, integrating diagnostic results and physicians’ reports.
Joint Educational and Research Initiatives
The partnership also includes the development of educational and certification programs for medical professionals, designed jointly with experts from Roche Diagnostics and Central Asian University. These programs aim to strengthen competencies in laboratory management, digital technologies, and clinical analytics.
In addition, both parties plan to launch joint research projects focused on advancing early diagnostics, preventive medicine, and sustainable healthcare systems.
