Central Asian University Showcases the Future of Hospitality Education at HORECA EXPO Uzbekistan

Central Asian University (CAU) proudly participated in HORECA EXPO Uzbekistan, one of the country’s leading events dedicated to the hospitality and tourism industry.
As part of the program, Prof. Erdogan Ekiz, Dean of the School of Hospitality Management and Tourism at CAU, delivered an inspiring presentation titled “Uzbekistan’s Hospitality Future through Practice-Oriented Dual Degree Programs.”
In his talk, Prof. Ekiz emphasized the importance of innovative, hands-on learning models that prepare students to meet the evolving needs of the modern hospitality sector. He highlighted CAU’s dual degree partnership with HTMi Switzerland as a prime example of combining international excellence with local relevance.
With Uzbekistan’s tourism industry growing rapidly, Prof. Ekiz outlined key priorities for the country’s educational institutions:
