From the First Job Fest to Team Lead: The Story of CAU Alumnus, Temurmalik Kudratov

When Temurmalik Kudratov enrolled in the Computer Science program at Central Asian University, he did not yet know what career path he would pursue after graduation. He was passionate about technology, eager to grow, and understood that IT was one of the most promising industries. However, his vision for the future became much clearer during his years at university.

One of the defining moments of his student journey was Job Fest, CAU's annual career fair. It was there that Temurmalik received his very first job offer and began his professional career as a Junior Specialist at AKFA Holding.

His dedication and commitment to continuous learning quickly paid off. Within just three months, he was transferred to AKFA Radiator, and thanks to his strong performance, he later joined the commercial department of AKFA COMFORT.

Today, Temurmalik serves as a Software Engineer and Team Lead. He is responsible for maintaining and developing corporate software systems, overseeing software used in production and logistics processes, and creating solutions that help improve sales efficiency.

When choosing a university, Temurmalik was looking for an environment where he could learn from experienced professors, work with modern technologies, and be surrounded by ambitious, motivated students. According to him, he found exactly that at Central Asian University.

The university's faculty played a significant role in shaping his professional journey. Temurmalik says that the guidance of Professor Muhammadali Hayotov helped him choose his future career path, while advice from industry professionals, including Professor Sajid Khan, became especially valuable after he entered the workforce.

Another major advantage was CAU's strong focus on career development. Initiatives such as Job Fest, networking events with employers, and industry-oriented courses gave him the opportunity to explore the job market and gain his first professional experience while still studying.

The knowledge and skills he acquired at the university closely reflected real industry practice. Academic projects simulated the types of challenges software engineers face in leading companies, while the discipline, problem-solving mindset, and systematic approach developed throughout his studies became essential assets in his professional career.
