CAU Students Selected for Exchange Semester at UNIST in South Korea

Biomedical Engineering student Khadija Umarkhon and Computer Science student Saodatkhon Akramkhonovna have been selected to participate in an academic exchange program at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), one of South Korea’s leading research universities.

During the Fall 2026 semester, they will study at UNIST, attending lectures, participating in laboratory sessions, and completing coursework in their respective fields alongside students from different countries.

The exchange program selection was based on academic performance and several eligibility requirements, including a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.3 scale, English language proficiency at the IELTS 6.5 level or equivalent, and the successful completion of at least one year of university study. Both students met all program criteria and successfully completed the selection process.

International exchange programs provide students with opportunities to gain academic experience in a different educational environment, strengthen professional competencies, and broaden their international perspectives.

The participation of CAU students in the program reflects the university’s commitment to expanding international academic cooperation and supporting student mobility initiatives.
