CAU Professor Publishes Research on Ethical Decision-Making in a Q1 Scopus-Indexed Journal
A research article by Dr. Sedigheh Shakib Kotamjani, Professor at the Business School of Central Asian University, has been published in the International Journal of Service Science, Management, Engineering, and Technology (IJSSMET), a Q1-ranked journal indexed in the Scopus database and published by IGI Global.
The article, titled “Ethical Decision-Making in Syrian Wholesale Companies: Rest's Four Component Model of Morality,” examines ethical decision-making processes in wholesale companies using Rest’s Four Component Model of Morality.
The study analyzes how four elements — ethical awareness, moral judgment, moral intention, and behavior — influence managerial decision-making in business environments.
The research was conducted in collaboration with international scholars from several countries, reflecting cross-national academic cooperation in the field of business ethics and management studies.
The publication contributes to ongoing research on ethical decision-making in organizations and represents the participation of Central Asian University scholars in international academic research.
