The CAU-AMUH Medical Residency Program 2026 offers 29 seats across 12 clinical specialties. Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan are eligible for a 110% scholarship from AKFA Group, covering full tuition and a resident salary throughout the program.
Central Asian University, in collaboration with AKFA Medline University Hospital, has opened applications for the 2026 intake of the CAU-AMUH Medical Residency Program.
The four-year program is designed as a practice-oriented clinical training. Residents are officially employed at AKFA Medline University Hospital, receive a salary, and complete their training under the supervision of experienced clinicians, with a gradual increase in clinical responsibility.
The 2026 intake offers 29 seats across 12 clinical specialties: Family Medicine, Anesthesiology, General Surgery, Cardiac Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Urology, Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Gynecology and Obstetrics, and Ophthalmology.
The program includes clinical training at AKFA Medline University Hospital and partner medical institutions, mentorship from international faculty from Europe and Canada, a strong academic and research component — medical literature analysis, academic writing, and international publications — and access to modern medical technologies and equipment.
For citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a 110% scholarship from AKFA Group is available for all 29 seats, covering full tuition and providing a resident salary throughout the program. International candidates may apply on a tuition-paying basis.
