Central Asian University Represented at IDEC 2025, Indonesia’s Premier Dental Congress
Central Asian University made a remarkable contribution to the Indonesia Dental Exhibition & Conference (IDEC) 2025, held in Jakarta from November 14–16. As the largest and most influential dental event in Indonesia, IDEC gathered global leaders in dental science, education, and clinical practice — and CAU proudly represented Uzbekistan on this international platform.
During the conference, Professor Dr. Niladri Maiti, Dean of the CAU School of Dentistry, delivered a keynote lecture focused on the innovative Tactile Control Activation (TCA) technique used for managing challenging root canal cases. His presentation explored how this newly approved method, combined with advanced laser technologies, significantly enhances the success rate of treating extremely curved canals. The session quickly became one of the highlights of the congress.
The event was officially inaugurated by the Minister of Health of Indonesia and the President of the Indonesian Dental Association, underscoring its importance both nationally and within the broader Asian dental community.
IDEC 2025 featured a robust scientific program, with experts from Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, and other countries delivering lectures and hands-on training in fields such as implantology, esthetic veneers, nitrous oxide sedation, and endodontics. This global exchange of knowledge created a dynamic environment for professional growth and innovation.
Students from the CAU Dental School also actively participated in the congress. They attended advanced scientific sessions, explored state-of-the-art dental technologies from Germany, France, Italy, Korea, and engaged with dental students from Indonesia — building meaningful academic connections and potential future collaborations. Beyond the conference halls, students had the opportunity to discover Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage through museum and historical site visits.
