Academic Expertise: Dr. Aziz holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, and DSc in Computer Science, with specializations in Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence (AI). His 17+ years of experience across global academic institutions, including in Egypt, India, and Uzbekistan, make him a true expert in the field.
Professional Impact: Having served in various senior roles, including Professor, Head of Departments, and Dean, Dr. Aziz has a strong track record of academic excellence and administrative leadership. He has been a Senior Member of ACM and IEEE, and he brings his cutting-edge expertise in Smart Cities, AI, IoT, Network Security, and Intelligent Systems.
Publications and Leadership: Dr. Aziz has authored or co-authored over 60+ articles in prestigious journals, book chapters, and conference papers. He has also published two internationally recognized books with Springer, and served as Editor-in-Chief and reviewer for top-tier journals like IEEE Access, Scientific Reports, and Remote Sensing.
Global Conference Leadership: Dr. Aziz has played an active role in international conferences as co-chair, publication chair, program chair, and track chair, working with renowned publishers like IEEE and Springer.
With his global expertise and a deep passion for fostering innovation, Dr. Aziz will lead the Engineering School to new heights, driving transformative change in both the university and the field of engineering.
